Triveni — privacy
This page is about Triveni, the private publishing system described on its own page. If you are looking for the privacy policy of the tools on this website, that is here — they collect nothing, and this page does not change that.
Who this affects
Triveni has one user: its operator. The only Google account it ever connects to is one that its operator owns and has signed into themselves. It has no other users and collects nothing from visitors to any of its sites.
What it receives from Google
- A sign-in for the connected YouTube channel, issued by Google when the operator approves the connection. It is stored encrypted, on a private server, and is never displayed, copied or sent anywhere.
- The channel’s name, handle and picture, shown once so the operator can confirm the right channel was connected.
- Comments left on the operator’s own videos — the text of the comment, the public display name of whoever wrote it, and the identifier YouTube gives it.
- Public view, like and comment counts for those same videos.
What it does with it
- Uploads finished videos to the connected channel, and sets their title, description, thumbnail and playlist.
- Reads the comments on those videos and drafts a reply to the ones that ask a question. The text of the comment and the display name attached to it are sent to Anthropic, whose language model writes the draft. Nothing else about the comment is sent. The draft is held for the operator to approve unless they have switched automatic replies on, which is off by default.
- Records the view counts against the video, so the operator can see how a piece performed.
What it never does
- It is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone beyond what is described above.
- It is never used for advertising, and no profile of anybody is built from it.
- Triveni trains no models of its own and uses none of this data for that purpose.
Limited Use
Triveni’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it is kept, and for how long
On a private server rented by the operator, in a database that is not reachable from the public internet. The sign-in is kept until the channel is disconnected. Comments and view counts are kept while the video they belong to is published.
Withdrawing access
The operator can disconnect the channel inside Triveni, which deletes the stored sign-in immediately. Access can also be withdrawn from Google’s side at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops it at once.
If you left a comment on one of these videos
Your comment and the display name you chose are already public on YouTube; Triveni holds a copy so it can reply to you. Delete the comment on YouTube and it is gone at the source, or write to us and we will erase our copy and confirm it.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be erased. Write to us and we will answer in writing.
